Only 25 when she married Mark, Tami's dreams and plans experienced an abrupt change when they discovered shortly after their marriage that Mark had Leukemia.  That disease, along with an assortment of other challenges, has continued for 25 years.

In addition to sharing how her faith has sustained her, how to be assertive and vocal, Tami also impressed upon fellow caregivers to maintain their own identities and "don't give up your hobbies."
